Julian Assange is an unspoken symbol of freedom of speech
Over the past 9
years, assange has faced several rape charges, Sweden has demanded his
extradition, Interpol has issued a warrant for his arrest, and the US has
recognized Him as an enemy of the state. So who is Julian Assange and why many
governments have rebelled against him.
Julian Assange is a
journalist and founder of Wikileaks, an online publication that publishes
classified information from anonymous sources. By the way, Wikileaks was
created back in 2006 and since then, Julian has been tacitly declared an
"Enemy of America".
Publishing
"inconvenient" information, Julian was hunted and accused of various
crimes.
Julian Assange took
refuge in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London in 2012, where he officially
received political asylum. He was held there until April 11, 2019, when the
Ecuadorean authorities denied Assange asylum, and he was arrested by the London
police.
Mr Assange is now in
custody. He faces up to 8 years in a maximum security prison.
But even in prison,
he is not forgotten by his friends and admirers. Recently, he was visited by
the star of the 90's Pamela
Anderson and Barbara wire.
Later, on Twitter,
Pamella will write that Julian is completely innocent and does not deserve to
sit in a Super-Max prison. "He is an unspoken symbol of freedom of
speech," MS Anderson writes on her social media page.
We hope that this
case will get a happy ending, and the punishment will match the crime.
